Marissa got in touch with me because she wanted to propose to her girlfriend, Gina. She was nervous and wasn’t too sure about a location and really wanted to make it a surprise during a photoshoot. I could tell she was nervous so I did my best to help her find a location, and then proceeded to coordinate with her and the owner of Willow Hill Lodge, Kathy. Gina thought this was just going to be a photoshoot to capture their love and had no idea what was going on – even though we had a few close calls. I walked them around the beautiful property in Longview Alberta and led them to a cozy little picnic in the woods – surprise #1 for Gina. We took a few pictures, then I left them to enjoy each other for a few minutes and when I came back, Marissa reached for the ring and popped the question – Surprise #2. The last surprise, #3, of the evening was that Marissa had coordinated for their parents to be there for a small celebration. Congrats you two on your engaygement!!!
